一心音樂學院的成立緣於P和ON在2006年的一次對話。

二人遠赴位於大平洋彼岸的美國學藝，積極裝備自己，期望將一套全新的流行音樂教授理念帶回香港。事隔四年，他們已積累足夠的經驗與信心，準備大展拳腳，於是說︰「就創辦一心音樂學院吧！」

一心音樂學院旨在為各界人士打造全面而富有趣味的音樂課程。學院顧及每個學生的個別需要，因應他們的獨特興趣和目標訂立教程，力圖培育出全面而有熱誠的音樂表演者。

A conversation between P and On back in 2006 led to the formation of UNImusic. It was at the time when both of them had the idea of bringing to Hong Kong a new set of philosophy in teaching modern music. It was at the time when both of them were already preparing themselves, all the way across the Pacific Ocean in the States, for this challenge. Four years have then lapsed and they have accumulated enough experience and confidence in bringing this idea into fruition. So they said, "Let there be UNImusic."

UNImusic Academy is dedicated to providing comprehensive and interesting music lessons to people from all walks of life. The team at UNImusic endeavours to attend to every individual need and to tailor-make learning programmes that suit our students' specific interests and goals. At UNImusic we develop enthusiastic musicians and all-rounded performers.

在傳統的一對一教學之上,加入多元化的互動學習元素,務求刺激學員的學習動機及提高其學習效率。透過不同類型的小組協作學習,促進學員彼此間頻密的交流,縮窄其能力差異。

全面而靈活的課程組合
除了樂器專項學習以外,學院將陸續開設其他副修課程(如聽力訓練、樂理等),學員可因應自己的興趣和需要,自由搭配個人化的課程,擴闊學習領域,增加趣味。

「學習」與「應用」雙軌並行
表演藝術講求長期沉浸,許多學員在單調的學習過程中往往感到厭倦。一心音樂學院強調「學以致用」︰學習時以應用為目的;應用的時候反過來檢視學習的效能。

特設小型表演場地
學院自設表演場地,定期為學員組織小型表演。通過現場演奏和觀摩,學員既能增加實戰經驗,也能和同學互相切磋砥礪,共同進步。
